What this site is

World Hyundai Matteson Reviews publishes written customer stories about buying and servicing cars at this dealership. There are no star ratings. Stories are published exactly as the customer wrote them — nothing is rewritten, summarized, or generated.

Story submissions

When someone shares a story, the form collects a first name, a last initial, a city and state, the vehicle (year, make, model), which team member helped, the topics chosen, a yes/no answer about sending a friend, and the story itself.

A submitted story is intended for publication. It is held for review by the dealership first, and only appears on the site once someone approves it. The information above is what appears with the published story — that is why the form never asks for a full last name, an email address, a phone number, or an address.

If you start a story on your own phone, a draft is saved on your device only — it isn't sent to us until you submit, and it's deleted when you finish or choose Start fresh.

To have your own story taken down, call or write the dealership using the contact block below and tell us which story is yours. We will remove it.

The AI story search

AI reads your words only to choose topics and filters — it never writes a word you'll see. Your search is processed by our AI provider to identify matching filters and is not saved by this site. No one at the dealership sees what you type. Every result is a real customer's story, shown exactly as written. Nothing on this page is generated.

The AI provider is currently the Lovable AI gateway, running Google Gemini. That provider may change over time; when it does, this page changes with it. What does not change is the job: the model receives your words and returns a short list of filter names from our own tables. It never writes anything you read.

This site does not write your search to its database, and no one at the dealership can look up what you typed. To stop abuse, the site keeps a short-lived count of requests per connection in memory only — the count disappears on its own and never includes your words.

Visits and links

Team members hand out personal links and QR codes. When one is used, the site records three things: which team member, which kind of source (link, QR code, and so on), and the calendar day. That is all. No IP address is stored, no browser fingerprint is built, and no advertising or analytics trackers run on this site.

The site also keeps a daily tally of how people arrive — a visit is counted as having come from a search engine, an AI assistant, a social app, or straight to the address — and nothing more. The tally records the day, that one word, and the kind of page. It does not record who you are, where exactly you came from, or anything about your device.

Public pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. You can read every story here without leaving a trace on your device. The one exception is the phone draft described above, which you create by starting a story and which stays on your phone.

Staff sign-in

The dealership's own team signs in on a separate, unlisted part of the site. Those screens use a standard authentication session so a signed-in employee stays signed in. That session applies to staff accounts only and never to visitors reading stories.

No sale of data

Nothing collected here is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. The only outside services involved are the ones that make the site work: the hosting and database platform, the AI provider named above, and the email service used to notify staff about new submissions.

Children

This site is meant for car shoppers and owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a story was submitted by a child, contact us and we will remove it.
